Synthesis and crystal structures of (<i>E</i>)-<i>N</i>′-(4-chloro-3-nitrobenzylidene)acetohydrazide and (<i>E</i>)-2-(4-chlorobenzylidene)-1-(quinolin-8-yl)hydrazine

چکیده
The syntheses of two benzylidenehydrazine derivatives, namely, ( E )- N ′-(4-chloro-3-nitrobenzylidene)acetohydrazide, C 9 H 8 ClN 3 O , and )-2-(4-chlorobenzylidene)-1-(quinolin-8-yl)hydrazine, 16 12 are reported. molecules have been characterized using IR, 1 NMR, 13 NMR mass spectroscopic elemental analysis techniques, their structures determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
